SAK is a national pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling industries contractor headquartered in the St. Louis area.
SAK Construction will employ cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation on the Upper Amnicola and Tiftonia interceptor projects. SAK’s application of CIPP plays a vital role in the pipeline rehabilitation industry’s “no dig” technology that rehabilitates damaged sewer pipes quickly and cost-effectively, with minimal disruption or inconvenience to the surrounding community and environment. The Upper Amnicola and Tiftonia Interceptor projects are managed by the City of Chattanooga. Both projects are on the priority ranking list of the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Project completion is slated for December 2010.
SAK Construction is one of the fastest-growing, privately held pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling contractors in the U.S. today. SAK offers expertise in trenchless technology including CIPP and a full range of underground construction services to provide clients with cost-effective solutions to the problems associated with inadequate or deteriorating water mains, sanitary sewers and storm sewers.
